Efficiency maxed out: work faster with Resourcecloud

Less planning, more doing: how task value, autoplanner, pool and assistant save time every day.

Most of a team's time doesn't go into the work itself, but into everything around it: What matters now? Who does this? Where is the latest status? Resourcecloud takes that overhead off your hands. Five habits to get the most out of it.

1. Start with what matters

With twenty open tasks, the hardest question is where to begin. That's why every task in Resourcecloud has a calculated value based on project priority, impact, due date, size, age and blockers. Sort My Tasks by it and work from the top down. Priority discussions get shorter, because everyone can see how the value comes about.

2. Take work from the pool

Whoever is done doesn't wait for an assignment. Tasks without an assignee sit in the team's pool, and everyone takes the most important one that fits their skills. Work gets distributed without a coordination meeting.

3. Let the plan maintain itself

Plans are outdated the moment they're drawn. The autoplanner distributes tasks day by day across capacity, vacation and sick leave. When someone falls ill, scheduled tasks move on or go to a substitute. Dates set by people stay untouched.

4. Don't search, ask

Hours of digging through folders and mails for the latest status are over. The assistant knows tasks, tickets, times, capacity and documents, and answers in seconds with a linked source. It only works with what the person asking is allowed to see.

5. Book time as you go

Booked time flows into timesheets, reports, project costs and invoices. Booking time directly on the task saves the hours otherwise spent on documentation at the end of the month. And the reports show where processes can improve, for example when the share of meetings gets too high.

And now?

Try it out: the demo lets you click through the same workflows without setting anything up.
